【摘要】:Thisstandarddescribesanapparatusthatprovidestheversatilityrequiredtoconductoxidationorthermalstabilitytestsonliquidsusingawidevarietyoftestconditions.Itissufficientlyflexiblesothatnewtestconditionscanbechoseninresponsetothechangingdemandsofthemarketplace.ProceduresusingthisapparatusaredescribedinthefollowingASTMstandardtestmethods:D5763,D5846,andD6514.Otherproceduresmaybeinuse,buttheyhavenotbeendevelopedasASTMstandardtestmethods.1.1Thisguidecoversanapparatususedtomeasuretheoxidationorthermalstabilityofliquidsbysubjectingthemtotemperaturesintherangefrom50to375176;Cinthepresenceofair,oxygen,nitrogen,orothergasesatflowratesof1.5to13L/h,orintheabsenceofgasflow.Stabilitymaybemeasuredinthepresenceorabsenceofwaterorsolubleorinsolublecatalysts.Gasesevolvedmaybeallowedtoescape,condensedandcollected,orcondensedandreturnedtothetestcell.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
