【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoverslubricatinggreasessuitablefortheperiodicrelubricationofchassissystemsandwheelbearingsofpassengercars,trucks,andothervehicles.1.2Thisspecificationdefinestherequirementsusedtodescribethepropertiesandperformancecharacteristicsofchassisgreasesandwheelbearinggreasesforservice-fillapplications.1.3Thetestrequirements(acceptancelimits)giveninthisspecificationare,asthecasemaybe,minimumormaximumacceptablevaluesforvalidduplicatetestresults.Noadditionalcorrectionsfortestprecision,suchasdescribedinPracticeD3244,aretobeappliedinasmuchastheprecisionofthetestmethodswastakenintoaccountinthedeterminationoftherequirements.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgivenininch-poundunitsareforinformationonly.
