【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesamethodoftestingthecontinuouswave(cw)laserresistanceoftheshaftofatrachealtube.Othercomponentsofthesystem,suchastheinflationsystemandcuff,areoutsidethescopeofthisInternationalStandard.Thespecifiedtestmethodshallbeusedtomeasureanddescribethepropertiesofmaterials,productsorassembliesinresponsetoheatandflameundercontrolledlaboratoryconditionsandshallnotbeusedtodescribeorappraisethefirehazardorfireriskofmaterials,products,orassembliesunderactualfireconditions.However,resultsofthistestmaybeusedaselementsofafireriskassessmentwhichtakesintoaccountallthefactorswhicharepertinenttoanassessmentofthehazardofaparticularenduse.Cautionshouldbeobservedininterpretingtheseresults,sincethedirectapplicabilityoftheresultofthistestmethodtotheclinicalsituationhasnotbeenfullyestablished.NOTEThistestmethodmayinvolvehazardousmaterials,operations,andequipment.ThisInternationalStandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallthesafetyproblemsassociatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthistestmethodtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
