【摘要】:ThisEuropeanstandardspecifiesgeneralprinciplesforthemagneticparticletestingofferromagneticmaterials.Magneticparticletestingisprimarilyapplicabletothedetectionofsurface-breakingdiscontinuities,particularlycracks.Itcanalsodetectdiscontinuitiesjustbelowthesurfacebutitssensitivitydiminishesrapidlywithdepth.Thestandardspecifiesthesurfacepreparationoftheparttobetested,magnetizationtechniques,requirementsandapplicationofthedetectionmediaandtherecordingandinterpretationofresults.Acceptancecriteriaarenotdefined.Additionalrequirementsforthemagneticparticletestingofparticularitemsaredefinedinproductstandards(seetherelevantENStandard).Thisstandarddoesnotapplytotheresidualmagnetizationmethod.
